What conditions can SATcase withstand?

Designed and manufactured to work in the world’s harshest environments, SATcase won’t let you down.

Fit for any purpose. In any situation. Anywhere in the world.

Extreme heat and cold

From the extreme cold of the North Pole to the stifling temperatures of the Gobi Desert, the SATcase is able to withstand storage temperature fluctuations from -10 °C to +55 °C.

When in operational use, its rugged components will be fit for purpose from -20 °C to +70 °C.

Providing your smart phone can operate at these extremes, SATcase will allow you to make calls and send texts or data messages via the Iridium Satellite.

It’s easy to discover your smart phone’s operating temperature range – just take a look at the manufacturer’s handbook.

Being submerged in water

Water and technology do not usually mix well.

But even if you drop the SATcase in water, you shouldn’t have to worry if you can recover it quickly.

To comply with its international standard IP68 rating, SATcase is resistant to submersion in water up to a maximum depth of 1.5m for up to thirty minutes.

Dirt, dust and sand penetration

To achieve the highly-regarded MIL-STD-810 design specification, SATcase has proven its durability. In strict lab conditions. To military-grade standards.

Basically, its electronics and technology have passed a gruelling series of tests to guarantee that it can withstand heat, cold, shock, vibration, humidity and a whole lot more.

In line with its Ingress Protection (IP68) rating, the device is tough enough to withstand penetration from the harshest dirt, dust, and sand.

Unexpected drops

SATcase will also cope with being bashed, knocked and unexpectedly dropped.

Ideal for those who enjoy hiking, climbing, biking, canoeing and other adventure sports.

SATcase keeps you connected when Mother Nature has other plans.
